Women’s Self-Protection Classes

Pre-teen thru Adult

Tuesdays and Thursdays  6:30-7:15pm


Women’s Self Protection Class is combat-based protection training for all females 13 years –up. This class focuses on the study of spatial awareness, using appropriate response to the situation, building physical core stability, strength and timing (speed). Females train in the presence of other females with only male trainers to provide real situational problem solving opportunities. 

            Time: Tuesday and Thursdays : 6:30 – 7:15pm All levels

Mind/Body Training in:

·      The Irimi Spirit and Breath

·      Mind/Body Core strength

·      Solid Structural Foundation

·      Physical Balance and Coordination

·      Timing and Speed

·      Presence and Spatial Awareness

·      Defensive/Offensive tactics and techniques

 Bring: water bottle, towel, non-street shoes for training, loose clothing, light weight training gloves

Classes are taught by Sensei R. Vicente Rubio 5th Dan
